Liatris Hair Design was established in 1988 in Lexington, MA by sisters Lisa and Pam who, growing up, wanted to pull out each other’s hair at times. Little did they know that this obsession with “hair” would turn out to be such a treasured friendship and partnership.
Thanks to the unwavering support of their friends and family, their dream of opening a salon together became a reality. The tiny rooms within this historical building were renovated and transformed into this soothing space by the very hands that style your hair today.
The tall, elegant Liatris flower is known throughout the American Southwest as “the magical wand.” This name was chosen to honor their grandparents who operated a commercial flower farm, where the appreciation for beauty and the value of hard work was nurtured.
Once established, Lisa and Pam gratefully took the opportunity to welcome experienced and talented stylists to join their team.
